We advocate for cities of all sizes to be safe, livable, and inviting. We work to elevate local government to be the highest level of collaboration for people working together in a place, not merely the lowest level in a hierarchy of governments.

Montana Innovation Partnership at MSU to host virtual conference March 7

The conference aims to connect Montana and regional entrepreneurs who are working on advanced technology with information that can aid in commercializing new research, said Ann Peterson, program director of MSU’s Montana Innovation Partnership. 

Montana State and partners receive $5 million grant for ongoing buffalo trail project at Fort Peck

The award also supports an ongoing, comprehensive, grassroots effort to engage members of the tribes in community-building initiatives intended to rejuvenate connections with buffalo.

Tech scales up reforestation in the wake of wildfires

In the US, approximately seven million acres of land are burned by wildfires each year, and global warming is increasing the risk of very large fires. At the same time, not enough resources are being allocated to reforesting the areas that are lost to the flames, and there is an overall lack of seeds, nursery capacity, planting capacity, and funding.
