The E+ Business Partners provides custom incentives for energy efficiency to qualifying business, industrial, and irrigation customers.

There is generally broad support for enhancing the nation’s
electricity transmission and distribution systems to
make them more resilient, to meet future demands (including
capacity and ever-higher reliability), and to achieve the
broader policy goals and services our customers want that
together define a "smart grid."

The project is aimed at testing emerging smart grid energy technology that could lead to lower energy costs and fewer outages for consumers and more efficient energy management for NorthWestern, according to Bill Thomas, NorthWestern’s manager of Regulatory Support Services.

Customers should be suspicious of any telephone or Internet solicitation offers particularly if they ask for personal information including credit card or bank account information.
