Developing a more Entrepreneurial Montana

Trying to reverse a decades-long economic slump in upstate New York, state leaders are now looking at how they can support and nurture entrepreneurship in the region.

Entrepreneurship evolves around a personality a complex of attributes that are behavioural, temperamental, emotional and mental. The good thing about these attributes, which include ambition, courage, eye for opportunities, industry and independent thinking, is that one is able to develop them.

We take a behind-the-scenes look at five cases that are at least twenty years old, are still regularly taught in MBA classes, and rank among the best-selling cases of all time.

While Gartner doesn’t actually call entrepreneurs crazy, he does say they’re not entirely normal.

The U.S. Small Business Administration is launching a live Web chat series on entrepreneurship beginning in July. The monthly chat sessions will feature successful entrepreneurs fielding questions from the participants.
