Umpqua CDC is currently seeking a new MEDAL Program manager. This is
a full time, salaried position with full benefits, and oversees up to
3 staff members.

Umpqua Community Development Corporation of Roseburg, Oregon, has
received a Small Business Administration PRIME grant to create a
comprehensive recruitment, screening/assessment, technical assistance,
and long-term support program for low and moderate income
entrepreneurs in conjunction with utilization of Individual
Development Accounts.

A group called Greenlight Greater Portland is working to capitalize on these strengths to grow a sustainable economic future here.

The new jobs were created as a result of the federal stimulus package.
