He came out from Chicago to visit a friend who was going to the University of Montana.

"I had a wonderful trip and it just never left my mind," said Kelly, who now calls Montana home, along with his wife and their four children.

Yinger started TicketPrinting.com in 1997 so that he could live and work in Montana. The business boasts many things that are typical of start-ups—an ugly building on the outskirts of town and an office foosball table. But it also has easy access to world-class fly fishing.

"Many people move to Montana and buy 100 acres with the idea that they can farm or ranch," Malone says. "They have basic questions, like ‘How do I calve a cow?’ or ‘How do I get a field of hay started for my horses?’ We needed ways to answer those questions and we think this website and magazine will be of real value to rural landowners, newcomers and long-timers alike."

“We’re more interested in health care and prevention of disease,” explained Sunnshine. “We wanted to go to a place where we could make a bigger difference – have a bigger impact. Taking care of what people need as opposed to just cosmetic procedures that people want. Probably more importantly, we wanted a place that is good to raise kids in.”

It’s living life as it was meant to be lived: Quiet, peaceful and natural.

Montana mountain climber, Greg Mortenson, is working to fight terror by building schools in Pakistan. Now, a boy from one of the towns featured in Mortenson’s best selling book, Three Cups of Tea, is coming to stay in Missoula for one year.

“Working at Disney was a dream job in a lot of ways,” says Richard. “But I really think we’ve found the right thing for us to be doing, and the right place to be doing it here.”

"People come here and they want it to be like where they came from. I say, why don’t they stay there? The bad thing is, now they’ve got you outnumbered, you put an issue to a vote and they’ll outvote you."

Bahjat’s sister said she was a little worried about the winter cold, too, but some friends at work have offered to teach her to snowboard.

"So, I am waiting for the winter," she said.
