"As the population of Missoula continues to grow, planning for the future is critical to our ability to keep areas of the city livable, preserve an important economic driver, and have the tools necessary to plan for this growth," said Sherrill. "The open space bond and stewardship levy would give us one of the tools we need to do this."

Attendees at City Club Missoula October 15 will hear both sides of the question.

While progress is evident across downtown Missoula and each of its major corridors, city leaders have raised $400,000 to fund a new round of planning, one intended to guide the district up, and into the future.

It’s now time to update the Downtown Missoula Master Plan.
