Dept. of Education Announces Initiative to Share Best Practices in Teaching

The U.S. Department of Education has announced a new initiative to engage teachers and education experts in the sharing of best practices in teaching.

New Mexico Creates New Technical Education Centers for High School Students

The centers will target rural and isolated communities with curricula and programs developed collaboratively with local two-year colleges and school districts. Colorado Higher-ed voucher bill goes to Owens – would be first in nation to directly fund college students

The proposal would make the state the first in the nation to give some taxpayer money directly to college students instead of to colleges and universities. Students would use vouchers to help pay tuition at public and some private in-state schools.
