The city of Bozeman’s economic development team has finalized a new strategy with a focus on supporting the quantum computing and climate technology industries.

City commissioners voted to approve the new economic strategy this week, after asking city staff to go back to the drawing board earlier this year to include more focus on how arts and culture can contribute to the region’s economy. The plan suggests creating an arts industry council to help carry out some of the goals, like supporting youth arts programs.
