City of Hamilton to host a week of public input sessions ahead of city plan update

The city of Hamilton is kicking off a week of public outreach events as it prepares to update its comprehensive city plan.
Led by the planning board, the comprehensive plan update, dubbed Envision Hamilton, is set to take place in three phases, with the planning stage anticipated to last into spring 2022.
The goal of the update is to revisit Hamilton’s growth policy, as western Montana sees a recent boom in popularity.

A steering committee comprised of 11 members, city staff and consultants from the firm, Logan Simpson, met to discuss the process of the new plan, which is expected to take approximately one year to complete.
