Updates from Montana Ambassadors

As the seasons change and we enter October, I wanted to provide a few operational updates for members.  If you’ve noticed your inbox has been lighter on Ambassador emails, don’t fear, your board has been busy working on an exciting transition and engaging leaders for new initiatives at the chapter and committee levels.  Watch for opportunities to get engaged.

Operationally, I’m pleased to share that the Department of Commerce has offered to provide additional and direct resources to support the Montana Ambassadors and its mission!

Allow me introduce Suzanne Rickman, who serves as the Executive Assistant in the Director’s office at Commerce.  She will be managing incoming email at [email protected] and will serve as the Ambassador point of contact moving ahead.

Welcome to the team Sue!

If you attended the successful annual meeting and awards program held in August at Fairmont Hot Springs, you would have picked up from expert speakers and panelists that Montana’s economy is at an inflection point.  This is a time of great economic opportunity for our state and more importantly, a great time to be a Montana Ambassador!

On a personal note, I appreciate this team giving me the opportunity to serve the past two years and I’ll stay busy working on other projects with other partners, always with the mission to make Montana better.

All the best,

Dax Schieffer
