A new bill introduced this week seeks to control the explosion of feral pigs in California, or what some are calling a ticking “swine bomb,” by minimizing hunting restrictions on wild hogs and banning the release of pigs into the wild.

Montana bill aims to keep wild hogs out of state
Under Senate Bill 100, the Board of Livestock would have the authority to ban the possession and hunting of wild hogs and could establish penalties for those not abiding by the rules. The board could also control and eradicate the animals.
