    This is what I’m experiencing in France now. Slow down – everything is closed for lunch from 2 to 4 except the restaurants. They don’t open again until 7. 3 hour dinners are common. People sit in coffee shops on the square and share coffee with others for hours instead of waiting in line in your car for an expensive cup of coffee. Music is a way of life. We’re in a town that celebrates carnival for 3 months with bands and dancing 3 times every Saturday and Sunday. Today the hosted 30+ bands from the region in the square. Take time to enjoy life in the simple ways. Smile every morning when you get up to start your day. Think of at least 3 things you’re grateful for every night before you go to sleep. Smile instead of yelling at someone or getting upset. (I know I have to do this more as I drive the French motorways…) Enjoy life but above all. Don’t live to work. Work to live in the fullest sense. This is not a dress rehearsal. This is it.
