University of Montana Western Experience One: Students get rare experience with advanced motion capture technology

UM Western’s Janelle Handlos visited with Chet about a piece of technology that is incredibly rare in small schools. In fact, she told Chet that only major medical schools would have this kind of technology. It was paid for by the foundation for Experience One. And it gives Montana western students a huge advantage when it comes to moving into the workforce. Handlos is from the health and human performance department at Montana Western in Dillon, Montana.

The bottom-line is students have an advantage as they enter the workforce or continue on with graduate studies because their portfolio will already contain real-world educational experiences and projects. These projects often help the community at the same time by providing key services and contributing to ongoing research studies.
