Montana students taking aim at archery competition

High school archery

Inside Paris Gibson Education Center in Great Falls, archery practice is underway as students prepare for an archery competition in February.

This is a relatively new program for the school district but one that’s proving very popular.

“We’re trying to get started with the National Archery in our Schools Program (NASP) and we’re just starting and inviting kids to come in and learn how to shoot,” explained Great Falls Public Schools Indigenous Education Director Dugan Coburn.
