University of Montana, State Partnership Brings in $16M for Children and Families

University of Montana

A grant-writing partnership between the University of Montana’s Center for Children, Families and Workforce Development and the State of Montana has yielded rich results – almost $16 million in new grants to fund programs to support children and families in the state.

Beginning in 2018, the center established a partnership with the state to improve Montana’s ability to bring in more federal grant dollars to promote the health and well-being of Montana’s children, youth and families. The center provides technical assistance in locating, designing and writing grant applications. As projects are funded, the state works with the center and UM for research and evaluation and scaling evidence-based practices to expanded populations.
