Changing the trajectory: High-tech high school in tiny Winifred, Montana is philanthropist’s latest $40 Million gift to his hometown
The school is just the latest contribution Asbjornson has made to Winifred. Some of the red roofs in town hint at the extent of his other projects, including the Winifred International Suites Hotel, a community center, and the Mid-State Signs manufacturing business and showroom.

I had the pleasure of flying with my old school mate Rudy in his Piper Cub. We made the flight the day after our 50th high school reunion. I was hoping to capture some of the unique geologic faults that are exposed in the steeply eroded drainages that make up the Breaks.
