Changing the trajectory: High-tech high school in tiny Winifred, Montana is philanthropist’s latest $40 Million gift to his hometown
The school is just the latest contribution Asbjornson has made to Winifred. Some of the red roofs in town hint at the extent of his other projects, including the Winifred International Suites Hotel, a community center, and the Mid-State Signs manufacturing business and showroom.
“Hopefully we can find more people to work,” he said. “We’re trying to keep our town from drying up but at the same sense we’re up against the wall with workforce. Everyone is working and we need more people.”
