This documentary explores the deep history of Winifred, Montana dating back to the 1800’s. Located in Central Montana at the end of the road so to speak, the Winifred Area is home to many large ranches with descendants of the original fur traders and homesteaders. The development of the Transcontinental Railroad across Montana was instrumental in bringing homesteaders to Winifred.
