Boise State University is hosting a two-day economic workshop Dec. 9-10 at the DoubleTree Hotel Riverside, 2900 Chinden Blvd.

The workshop is titled "The Creative Economy," and will look at the economic benefits of bringing together education, government, the arts and business to help promote creative industries and businesses in Idaho.

The conference will describe the creative economy and how communities benefit.

Speakers and panelists will include local and state leaders and people from Sweden, the United Kingdom and Ireland.
