Electric Transmission Planning (ETP) Public Meeting Notice: NorthWestern Energy Plans Public Meeting in Great Falls and Bozeman

NorthWestern Energy invites the public to attend a meeting regarding the company’s local area electric transmission system planning process and how we plan to meet our Montana transmission customer’s needs in the future. The meeting will be held Tuesday, October 8, in Great Falls; and Thursday, October 10, in Bozeman.

To maintain adequate and reliable transmission delivery service for our Montana customers, NorthWestern Energy regularly studies its electric transmission system. This past year, NorthWestern has completed a study that looks 15 years into the future. The company is seeking public comment regarding the plan at the two meetings. At the meetings, the company will present the plan for meeting local area transmission needs and then open the floor for a question and answer session.
