Montana Nonprofit News for May 2024

Montana Nonprofit Association MNA

As the days are officially long and the weather is officially spring (rain-coat, sandals, and an extra layer at the ready), we are reflecting on where we’ve journeyed with you, our 855 members, so far this year.

Since January, we’ve hosted 14 trainings and events, reaching over 1,900 folks, and visited over 10 communities! We joined leaders in Forsyth and Havre for rural community builder summits, hosted in partnership with Montana Community Foundation and MSU – Extension Community Vitality. We brought together fundraisers in Billings for our annual Fundraising Summit, hosted online trainings, initiated a new Policy & Advocacy monthly member call, and this week, we are at Fairmont with leaders from across the state for our first ever Catalyst Leadership Summit.

And yet this work pales in comparison to the work we know you are all carrying out across the state. As we look to the next seven months of 2024, we’re getting ready to release our 2024 Wage and Compensation Report (stay tuned!), we are preparing for more training opportunities, an election, our annual conference, and the continued development of resources and ways to connect. We hope you let us know what you need, what questions you have, and how we can continue supporting the incredible work you do.
