Montana League of Cities and Towns, Missoula Mayor John Engen and others want to add local sales tax

Missoula Mayor John Engen and others asked state legislators Wednesday for a shot at a local option sales tax, a bigger slice of state revenues and, surprisingly, a wholesale state effort to purchase the Montana assets of NorthWestern Energy.
