Montana Business Leader Profile: Lance Trebesch, TicketPrinting.com CEO, Main Street Montana- Rural Partners Private Sector Chair

Lance Trebesch is CEO and co-owner of TicketPrinting.com + Eventgroove and is responsible for all functions and operations across its three primary business units:

  • TicketPrinting.com: custom event and fundraising products, with subsidiaries in the US, UK, Australia, and Canada.
  • Eventgroove: online event management and ticketing.
  • Raffle River: online raffle management and tools.

Since becoming a co-owner and CEO, Lance and his stellar team have increased revenue, expanded to three foreign markets, launched Eventgroove (SaaS event management and ticketing application), Raffle River (cloud raffle and fundraising management application), greatly expanded the types of products offered, and pioneered a new market expansion and business model. The company is based out of Harlowon and Bozeman, Montana.

Prior to TicketPrinting.com + Eventgroove, Lance was V.P. and G.M. of Savi Technology (an Accel Partners-backed company) based in Silicon Valley. Lance proposed and led Savi Technology’s supply chain security global business unit which later became a joint venture company called Savi Networks, co-owned by Hutchison Whampoa and Savi Technology. Savi Technology was acquired by Lockheed in 2006.

Prior to Savi Technology, Lance was V.P and G.M. of Viant, a Kleiner Perkins-backed internet services firm founded in Silicon Valley. Lance was global leader of Viant’s media and entertainment practice based out of Los Angeles, responsible for all P&L functions: marketing, sales, strategic alliances, operations management, client relationships, software development, recruitment and retention of more than 85 multi-disciplinary employees.

Prior to Viant, Mr. Trebesch was Director of Strategic Alliances for Dimension X, a pioneering Java software startup based in San Francisco. As Director, Lance leveraged Dimension X Java multimedia platforms, tools, and technology across Microsoft product lines by identifying, negotiating, and implementing technology integration and co-marketing agreements. Microsoft acquired Dimension X in 1997.

Lance graduated from the University of Washington with degrees in History and Economics. He lives in Bozeman, Montana with his wife Barbara and their three kids. Interests include alpine skiing, archery hunting, flyfishing, mountain biking, trail running, and whitewater rafting.
