Missoula County Public Schools Elementary Attendance Boundary Study Launching – You can be involved

In late October, we informed MCPS families that we will launch an Attendance Boundary Study this winter to look at the boundaries between each of our nine elementary schools. We are in the process of hosting staff and community meetings at each elementary school to go over the general process, get parent input, and answer questions

Today, we launched our Elementary Attendance Boundary Study Website. This site is accessible from the district home page and from each school’s homepage. It will be the clearinghouse for information during the process.

If you are interested in observing the deliberations of the Elementary Attendance Boundary Advisory Committee, all meetings will be open to the public. In addition, we will host several open houses during the process as well as an online mapping and commenting tool to allow for community input.

We will contemplate adjusting our middle and high school boundaries during a community process in the 19-20 school year.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Hatton Littman, MCPS Communications Director, at [email protected] or 728-2400 ext. 1024.
