Hope, courage, resilience – Red Ants Pants Foundation

The Red Ants Pants Foundation
Are you looking forward to having 2020 in the rearview mirror? Whew, we certainly are!  Although 2020 has been a year of challenges, it has also been a time for us to build resolve in the work we do. The Red Ants Pants Foundation works to develop and expand leadership roles for women, to preserve and support working family farms and ranches and to enrich and promote rural communities. Right now, this work feels even more important.  We would like to take the opportunity to thank you for being a part of our Foundation family and making this work possible. Here’s what you’ve helped make happen in 2020:

Timber Skills
In 2020, we hosted our Timber Skills Chainsaw and Carpentry workshops.  Despite the inconvenience, participants graciously adapted to health and safety protocols and they are reporting success! Check out one participants’ garage make over!  I had a blast and cannot thank you enough. I got over the hump that I was hoping to. The one that held me back from trying.

Girls Leadership
It looks very different, but we are forging ahead with our Girls Leadership Program (GLP).  Our pivot looks like this:
This is the 2020-2021 GLP class.  These girls hail from Laurel, Livingston, Roundup, Stevensville, Kremlin, Great Falls, Fairfield, and Polson. Yes, the program looks different, but we are committed to working with these emerging leaders over the next year. Despite the pandemic…and perhaps due to it…the girls are eager to learn new skills and find ways to engage in meaningful service in their communities. Hear from some of our recent participants on the awesome positive ripple effects of the program:
NEW! In 2021, we will also be launching a GLP alumni program to continue to bring meaningful leadership and life skills to girls across Montana.  Stay tuned for more updates in 2021.
CARES Act Special Deduction
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to deduct charitable donations and support organizations who are doing meaningful work. The CARES Act includes several temporary tax changes that help to support you in your support for charities, more information is available HERE.
And Many Thanks to our Foundation Family
As the year winds to a close, we would like to take the opportunity to thank you for being a part of our Red Ants Pants Foundation family. This year has brought many surprises.  We are so grateful for all of you for helping us make it through.  Despite it all, your support has allowed us to continue to make an impact.

If you are inspired to make a year-end tax-deductible contribution, you can do so here.  Whether you can give $5 or $500, every gift helps increase our impact.  We are forever grateful for your support.
