For Wyoming’s untaxed generations, the ‘free ride’ may be over

With COVID-19 and the coal industry’s collapse, the governor said the state might start abandoning small towns because we can’t afford to maintain their sewers and streets.

Sundance is considering axing its entire police force because the town struggles to pay for it.

Coal isn’t coming back, gas is in decline, oil continues to struggle and we’re looking to be flat broke — again.
