Nordstrom App Alerts Staff to In-Store Customer Profiles

Unlike an earlier project that tracked customer movement without asking, the new technology requires shoppers to first opt-in.
Nordstrom Inc. is testing mobile technology that sends salespeople the profiles of customers as they enter a store location, James Nordstrom, president of the company’s online division, told CIO Journal.
