Zoot Enterprises honors MSU computer science students with scholarships

Two Montana State University College of Engineering students received $1,000 scholarships from Bozeman’s Zoot Enterpriseshttp://zootweb.com .

Ernie Turner, a junior in computer science from Helena, and Jason Unruh, a senior in computer science from Bloomfield, received scholarships for the upcoming academic year.

This is the second year that Unruh received the award and the fourth year that Zoot has given scholarships to computer science students.

Zoot honors two students each year for their character, integrity, initiative, creativity, commitment to community and software expertise.

"It is a great honor for Zoot to be supporting such fine students," said Chris Nelson, Zoot Enterprises’ president and CEO. "Most of our employees have come from MSU, and we have always been thrilled with their ability. Sponsoring two computer science scholarships has been a positive way for us to give something back to the university community."

Zoot Enterprises processes 250,000 credit applications a day for customers such as Bank of America and Washington Mutual Bank. Nelson founded the company in 1990 in Bozeman.
