Workshop good as gold for Helena high school entrepreneurs in training

Learning how to tie a tie was one of the skills business students at Helena High School acquired Wednesday at the second annual Bengal Business Conference.

HHS senior Mark Harschfeld said before the tie-tying workshop he didn’t know how to properly complete that part of dressing for success.

Harschfeld is currently taking business law and desktop publishing at HHS and says one day he hopes to be an entrepreneur — possibly opening a restaurant.

Becky Stuker, Bengal Business Company co-director, said that students planned the entire conference, including design of the logo, guest speakers, prizes, refreshments and creating this year’s theme, “Office Olympics.”
