Educational sessions at the Expo will provide the opportunity to learn more about technology available for radio and telecommunications systems, enhanced and wireless 9-1-1, and GIS Services. Demonstrations and exhibits will allow hands-on exposure to equipment and emerging technologies.

The Expo is open to all emergency medical organizations; police and sheriff departments; fire; public safety organizations; telephone companies; highway patrol; state, local, and federal agencies; PSAP Managers and personnel; elected officials, and the general public.

The Expo will begin on March 9 at 12:00pm with a public Statewide Interoperability Executive Council (SIEC) meeting, which will provide the attendees with an understanding of the SIEC policies and procedures in identifying potential project recipients from across the state. The day will conclude with a hosted reception to enable users and vendors to get acquainted.

On Wednesday, the exhibits will be available from 8am to 6:30pm, including a buffet lunch for registered attendees. In addition, break out seminars will be presented on topics including grant writing, trunking, simulcast, CAD, GIS, State Contracting, and other important issues. After 4:30pm, two hours will be reserved for exclusive vendor and exhibit time, including drawings for door prizes.
