Why data-driven decision-making can be for everyone

Many leaders mistakenly believe that using quantitative data is the province of mathematicians and data analysts, but they’re selling themselves short, writes Oded Netzer of Columbia Business School. Using data to make better decisions simply requires “the ability and confidence to ask the right questions, spot patterns, and process that information in parallel with your understanding of the wider business situation,” he writes.
