University of Montana Named a Gold-Level Bicycle Friendly University
The University of Montana was honored with a gold-level Bicycle Friendly University distinction by the premier grassroots bicycle advocacy organization League of American Bicyclists. The award recognizes the institution’s achievements in promoting and enabling safe, accessible bicycling on campus.
The last time UM received a Bicycle Friendly University distinction was 2013. Since then, the Associated Students of the University of Montana Bike Program has expanded its mechanic crew, service offerings and overall engagement within the campus community.
