Critics worry the cuts could mean fewer jobs at one of Idaho’s largest employers.
Caleb Heeringa, deputy press secretary for the Sierra Club’s Beyond Coal initiative, said as many as 3,900 jobs could be cut if the Congress accepts the proposed budget.
