Three colleges, one mission: OneMSU provides accessible education to Montanans in health care

The Swingle Annex was bustling on Montana State University’s campus.
In a mock operating room, students scrubbed in for surgery to learn procedure protocols. Across the hall, others took notes during a remote lecture. Down the street, students started their cars before driving to ultrasound training at hospitals across Montana.
Each student is on a direct path to working in health care. Two-year degree programs offered through OneMSU prepare them to serve their communities and earn sizeable wages in Montana upon graduating. OneMSU, founded in 2018, offers six degree options between MSU’s two-year colleges: Gallatin College MSU, Great Falls College MSU and City College at MSU Billings.
“Montana is vast, and through this partnership, we can better serve the many communities and towns in need of skilled workers,” said DeeDee Dalke, director of Allied Health at Gallatin College MSU. “They’re each a piece of the puzzle that ultimately supports patient care.”
