The Pacific Northwest Economic Development Council’s 48th Annual Meeting, 7/15-18, Helena, MT

Mark your calendar – July 15-18, 2007 – to attend the Pacific Northwest Economic Development Council’s 48th annual meeting in beautiful Helena, Montana.

The PNEDC was founded in 1959 by a group of utilities, railroads, port districts, chambers of commerce and governments, aimed to provide a forum for networking and training within the field of economic development. This mission remains today as the organization turns forty-eight.

The annual conference provides the forum where professional economic developers from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Hawaii, Alaska, Alberta, and British Columbia can network and learn to make the overall region stronger economically. The event is designed to:

§ Encourage the practitioner to contribute and learn from other practitioners

§ Disseminate practical information amongst practitioners

§ Contribute to growing the body of knowledge, which defines the profession

The speaker list for the Helena conference is filling up with practitioners who will provide tools you can use in your community.

The event will kick off with a golf tournament on Sunday July 15th. Consider coming to Helena early and staying later to enjoy the area. We have many activities and experiences under the Big Blue Sky for you and your family to enjoy. More information about speakers, events, tours, activities, and registration will be forthcoming.
