    I don’t believe we will have gas stations. There may be a few for the few remaining gas powered cars but there will be an announcement when the last one closes just like the last Blockbuster store.

    Having a privately owned car for transportation will become so expensive that they will only be collectors items. We will subscribe to an autonomous fleet that will be at our beck and call with the pressing of an icon on our phones. Once we’re at our desired location, it will speed off to the next request. They’ll be inductively recharged as they drive to either a subscriber request or to a holding area.

    The result of this, and many other new technologies, will be the end of carcatecture – the subservience of our lives to the dictates of the automobile. Infrastructure, careers, life styles and our environment will be massively changed as we no longer build and live everything around the privately owned motor vehicle. Stay tuned…. the world and your life is going to get a lot better.
