The Butte Local Development Corporation has officially launched its annual Member-Investor Drive, inviting businesses, entrepreneurs, and community supporters to invest in the continued growth and economic vitality of Butte-Silver Bow.
For decades, BLDC has played a critical role in nurturing entrepreneurship, fostering economic development, increasing access to capital, and assisting businesses relocating to Butte. Through strategic lending, business support services, and community partnerships, the organization continues to strengthen the local economy while helping entrepreneurs turn ideas into successful enterprises.
During the year, BLDC lent more than $506,203 to businesses throughout Butte-Silver Bow while leveraging an additional $2.217 million in outside investment. Those investments helped create 71 new jobs and retain another 160 positions across the community.
