TOSA (Trolleybus Optimisation Système Alimentation) is an innovative Swiss electric bus system known for its flash-charging technology, developed by ABB and HESS, which allows buses to recharge in just 15-20 seconds at stops using overhead robotic arms, enabling continuous, zero-emission city transport in places like Geneva. This system uses smaller batteries and high-power bursts at stops and terminals, making it highly efficient and quiet, significantly reducing urban pollution
