Sweetwater commissioners grant permit for state’s first large solar generator

The Sweetwater County Commission has granted Sweetwater Solar LLC a conditional-use permit to construct, operate and decommission an 80-megawatt solar photovoltaic electric generation facility approximately 7.5 miles northwest of the intersection of Interstate 80 and the Peru Hill exit along Highway 372.
