On Thursday, January 13, 2005 from 3:30 to 5 p.m., Montana State Senate leaders
are requesting participation in a videoconference for Montana citizens
interested in helping define the elements of quality education.

In light of a recent Supreme Court ruling, the Montana Legislature is attempting
to define ìqualityî education in the 2005 session. The videoconference comes as

schools from across Montana will act as videoconference sites for those
interested in participating.

"It’s a great way to involve more Montanans as we move forward and define what
makes a quality education for our kids," said Senator Tester.

"With
videoconferencing, more people can join in the conversation and have direct
impacts without having to travel to Helena."
