Renton, WA company, Naverus takes navigation system global
January 17, 2006 /
Hundreds of jetliners roll off Boeing and Airbus assembly lines each year, but only a handful of airlines around the world are taking advantage of a satellite-based navigation system that is standard on each plane.
A company based in Renton, not far from The Boeing Co.’s commercial airplanes headquarters, is out to change that.
"There is a revolution occurring, from an old methodology of navigation to a new methodology. There was a need for a company with the expertise and resources to help lead that revolution," said Steve Fulton, chief technical officer of Naverus http://www.naverus.com/ .
