Project aims to improve grasslands

A project to improve the quality of private grazing lands was unveiled Friday at the Montana Stockgrowers Convention.

"This is about setting an example," said Bob Lee, of Judith Gap. "Showing by doing, limited only by imagination."

The Montana Grazing Lands Conservation Initiative is a private/public partnership aimed at using education, technology and management to improve the health and quality of grasslands used for grazing livestock.
