President Cruzado OKs plan to save Montana State University’s microbiology

Microbiology students who staged a rare campus protest at Montana State University are expressing gratitude after President Waded Cruzado approved a plan to save their department http://www.montana.edu/wwwmb/ .

"I’m really happy about it," Karin Langhus, 22, a senior in microbiology from Big Timber, said Thursday. "It’s really exciting."

"I’m very pleased with her decision," said Elliott Barnhart, a microbiology graduate student. "I got goose bumps listening to her plan. You could tell she’s a good leader."
