Nonstop to Chicago! A new era of connectivity for Missoula – Missoula Economic Partnership

Missoula travelers and businesses will soon have a direct link to one of the country’s most important transportation hubs. Beginning December 18, 2025, American Airlines will offer year-round, nonstop service from Missoula Montana Airport (MSO) to Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD).

This new route, which will connect Missoula to more than 150 domestic and international destinations via American’s Chicago hub, is the result of a major regional collaboration: Take Flight Missoula, a public-private initiative driven by Missoula Montana Airport, Destination Missoula, the Missoula Economic Partnership, the Missoula Tourism Business Improvement District, the Montana Department of Commerce, and Western Montana’s Glacier Country.
