New artistic director Joe Martinez, takes reins at Missoula Children’s Theatre

Michael McGill, the company’s executive director, said that hiring Martinez into the position brings not just a needed extra hand into the company’s management, but a respected theatrical figure back to Missoula.

"Many people in the local community remember and respect his work in this town, so it’s really nice to have him back on board," said McGill. "It will seem a little seamless; there’s not this startup period where Joe needs to get to know MCT http://www.mctinc.org/. He knows what we do, he can do what we do, and he’ll bring some new energy and focus and experience to what we do."
