Nature’s Song and Dance – Birdwatching in Montana

In Montana, birdwatching takes many forms–from a covert, pre-dawn mission intent on capturing mating dances with binoculars and telephoto lenses to the sudden unexpected thrill of seeing a golden eagle or a falcon swoop across the sky while on a scenic drive. Birds of all feather flock to Montana’s open plains, riverside habitats, cliff shelters, forests and marshy wetlands, so really, we defy you to not glimpse at least a few soaring specimens.
