I dare any kid to spend a morning with Bob Boschert and not fall madly or more deeply in love with science.

Full disclosure: The guy is Mr. Science. And he invades Silicon Valley elementary schools armed with his homemade Tesla coil, Jacob’s ladder (think lightning machine in Frankenstein movies) and Van de Graaff static electricity generator that leaves kids’ hair standing on end, literally.

He’s got all manner of magnets, human-powered flashlights, bells, buzzers and an electric energy of his own that seems it could light the school cafeterias and auditoriums he has adopted as his stage.
