Montana Tech nanotechnology students get big donation from Applied Materials

Montana Tech received a big donation for the Nanotechnology Laboratory to be used in the new Natural Resources Research Center http://foundation.mtech.edu/nrrc/ currently being constructed.

"The donation from Applied Materials http://www.appliedmaterials.com/ allows us to fabricate at the nanoscale much more efficiently and much more robustly than we could before," said Ph.D. student John Murphy.

Nanotechnology is basically the manipulation of matter on an atomic, molecular and supramolecular scale, which are things you can’t see without special equipment.
