Montana Legislature approves Bitterroot Valley Community College District

After years of hard work and lots of hope, the Bitterroot Valley officially is home to a new community college district.

The Montana House made it so Monday by passing Senate Joint Resolution 15 by a vote of 61-39.

“It’s fabulous,” said Bitterroot Valley Community College District trustee-elect Janet Woodburn. “We officially now have a Bitterroot Community College.”
