Montana launches survey to test, improve internet speeds
September 10, 2023 /

ConnectMT Broadband Office launched a survey to give Montana residents the chance to asses internet speeds at their location.
The online speed test assesses download and upload speeds, latency and jitter.
The survey is open until Sept. 22 and allows Montanans to report what kind of broadband services are used and if there are no services available.

I pay over $100 a month for a supposed 400 MB download. Today it’s 137. Clearly Spectrum believes in Lies, Damn lies and Statistics. I experience much less than the supposed speed most of the time. I don’t know of any other industry that gets away with this type of falsehood and still pleads, and receives, more and more money from the Government. Montana communities need and deserve the opportunity to implement community broadband. Most other states allow it. Why not Montana?
