Fabless semiconductor company Mobix Labs announced Friday that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Vision Aerial, a Montana-based manufacturer of unmanned aerial systems built to comply with National Defense Authorization Act supply-chain requirements.

Vision Aerial is a Bozeman, Montana-based drone manufacturer that builds American-made, NDAA-compliant drones for industrial, environmental, and safety applications. The company serves a wide range of sectors, including oil and gas, architecture and construction, utilities, environmental and wildfire response, agriculture, and public safety. It is known for platforms such as the SwitchBlade-Elite and Vulcan series, alongside payload options such as optical, thermal, LiDAR, and multispectral sensors.
